Smoke, smoke, smoke yourself to death

A study by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has found that older men who smoke heavily are more prone to suicide than non-smokers.
Results of autopsies performed under another study by Kochi University last year also found higher concentrations of nicotine in the blood of suicides than among individuals who died of other causes. One scientist involved in this study claimed that nicotine dependency may increase the possibility of depression.
Wow! If they also studied those who suicided we would find that most of them ate rice. Most people suicide from stress, depression and even to escape financial problems. Smoking is known to calm people. Never heard of smoking causing people to run down folks with their car. Alcohol, on the other hand, is a far greater danger to everyone and not simply the user as with cigarettes.
