In a story that sounds like it is straight out of the Darwin Awards, a robber brandishing a knife burst into an office in Sendai and demanded money. Only trouble is what he apparently believed to be Japan Railway office was actually the local police office staffed by cops instead of conductors.
The police officers soon had the situation in control and the hapless theif in custody.
