Selling yourself Coke

Home vending machine Here is something for the person who. . . Ummm. . .

Gee, I have got to admit that I can imagine no reason in the world why anyone would buy themself this product.

It’s a “home vending machine” that delivers drinks to you after you insert a special coin (comes with the vending machine) into the slot.

Maybe the 1-machine-for-every-23-people ratio here makes it impossible for Japanese people to drink anything that isn’t delivered mechanically.

Available from Rakuten (Japanese only) for 17,640 yen.

When I was in Japan I saw vending machines in front of people’s houses! That’s overkill.

well if ever the big one hits no one will die of thrist in the aftermath with the multitude of vending machines around. I just hope they open easy with a crowbar:twisted:

Who refills the machine? Who collects the coins?
