A 37-year-old carpenter from Saitama, Japan was arrested for making obscene telephone calls to an elementary school girl after he found her name and address in a magazine for anime fans. The girl had placed an ad in the magazine to look for pen pals.
The man, who admitted to police that he was guilty, was quoted as telling them, “It was fun to hear the girl surprised at my phone call.”
“I saw you change clothes at school,” he was quoted as telling the girl.
He made five calls to the home and he hung up whenever someone other than the girl responded.
Besides being a hopeless pervert, this man apparently is such an idiot that he placed his calls in a way that authorities were able to track them back to him.
What an asshole. What are Japanese prisons like? Anything like what we saw in Shogun the book/mini-series?
