This won’t hurt a bit. . .

Police in Akita, Japan have arrested a Buddhist priest and his female accomplice for the rape of a high school girl.

The pair allegedly lured the 17-year-old high school student into a hotel room with the promise to cure her of a sexually transmitted disease. Once inside the room, the 74-year-old priest reportedly raped the girl.

Both of the accused deny the allegations against them.

Sex and the Shitty (Priest)! I hate all religions now!

Anonymous Said:

How can one generalize this to hatred for all religions?

wow - 74. viagra-tastic. and the catholic church in the UK have competition for kiddy-fiddling!

I take it back. You are right. Mustn’t generalize. Sorry

Anon One Said:

It’s just that with all the sex scandals in both East and West over the past few years, one wonders… but you are right, Anon 2, we should not generalize. There are many good things about religion.

Er, like what? It keeps the sheeple under control?

well religions have built some nice cathedrals, temples, shrines and pyramids. The tourism industry of many countries owe a huge debt of gratitude to religions present and past.

And besides its not religion thats bad its how it is used and the people who use to their own ends thats bad.

… using slave labor and the sweat of millions of terrorized serfs.

The tourism industry of many countries owe a huge debt of gratitude to religions present and past.Somehow I think those who were squeezed and whipped by the priestly parasites into constructing these structures would have preferred to spend their time on more immediately rewarding pursuits.

its not religion thats bad its how it is used and the people who use to their own ends thats bad.
Why does this read like a lightly reworded version of the standard NRA trope about guns not killing people? It’s about as equally (un)convincing.

d.weber Said:

now, now with those generalizations! You are as bad as the faithful.

a number of those were not built by slave labor. Many of them provided jobs for generations.

And anyway its all in the past so no harm in reaping the rewards of their labors, slave or not,eh? Unless you want to tear them down or something?

Oh, and also religion has inspired some work of arts from countless artists both famed and unknown throughout the ages. What a boring artless world this would be without religion.

So has human misery in general, but that doesn’t mean we ought to want more of it. Isn’t the saying “Let us do evil that good may result” one of those things one is supposed to be against?

What a boring artless world this would be without religion

This makes as much sense as saying the world would be a boring place without murder because crime shows would cease to be produced; what is more, it lacks the merit of even being true, as the Western world continues to see a flood of artistic creativity without the hint of religious influence. The only thing your arguments prove is that religious apologists will go to any lengths to justify holding onto their superstitions in the face of any disgrace brought upon it all by any number of corrupt, greedy, oversexed “holy” men.

d.weber Said:

eh? Wow, you’re just a wee bit dogmatic about this aren’t you? Can’t say I see much difference between your fanaticism against religion and true beleivers fanatacism for it.

What you represent here is the true problem facing the world today - extremism which does not allow for compromise.

You have been voted the number one poster child for the promotion of eugenics. The gene pools is contaminated enough.

san_diegan Said:

Guns don’t kill people? They do. Just like cars do when mishandled. However, the cars don’t get blamed. The driver does. Now the simple minded, emotionally manipulated are easily lead by the media or politicians who vilify the object (guns not cars) to believe they are bad…. Oh Evil Guns! If the emotions from the gun argument are detached, anti-gunners have no viable argument. The data speaks for itself. If one really cares to do the research, it can be enlightening. Then again, it is generally impossible to change a person’s opinion when they are emotionally connected, usually by fear to a belief. Just out of curiosity, Cynical Atheist, have you ever defended yourself or anyone else with a firearm, and I mean in real life, not some online video game? Do you feel the same about outlawing cars? They kill people too. To all the rest of the readers, forgive my barely coherent rant at Cynical Atheist for digressing so far from the perverted priest post. 74 years old??? Hmmm…. The wonders of Viagra or was it assault with a dead weapon.

Kinda funny how these comments digress into things having nothing to do with Japan whatsoever.

D.Weber Said:

Well, I’d rebuttal but san_diegan pretty much has taken of that. Poignant and funny too:lol:

good point, duo. Along with guns and cars, we should ban Japan since they produce perverted priests.

Will someone please think of the children!?

Your moronically murderous statement is a glowing testament to the hateful insanity religious bullsh*t inculcates into people. So much for the “morality” religion supposedly fosters in those gullible enough to buy into it …

“Well, I’d rebuttal but san_diegan pretty much has taken of that. Poignant and funny too ”

Another moron! Shouldn’t you be busy sexually harassing your eikaiwa students or something, instead of cheering on statements in support of murder as “poignant and funny”? Then again, I suppose one can’t expect any better from a washed-up, cosplaying loser who got himself duped by a fly-by-night operation because of his futile desire to “Stick it to da man” …

D.Weber Said:

 wow! Nutter alert! Thank you for playing cynical atheist but you lost your marbles. but still that pathetic little stab about my story and picture were amusing:lol:

when the guys in the white suit come for you remember to go quietly, take your medicine and don’t befriend any Native Americans at the hospital

Cynical Atheist Said:

As I said, you’re a pathetic loser moron, capable of nothing more than feeble ad hominems where cleverer people might actually have utilized a smidgeon of reason: isn’t it pathetic that a supposed English major doesn’t even know the proper meaning of terms like “poignant”, “funny” or even “cynical?”

In the old days you’d have been the sort of pig-ignorant flotsam they’d have called FILTH - “Failed in London, Try Hong Kong”, the only difference being that you chose to inflict your useless self on Japan rather than the SAR. The rest of us have actual skills and careers to share with the world, rather than wasting our time spewing stupid anecdotes and cheering on hate-filled idiots whose only response to their superstitious nonsense is to engage in Nazi-talk about eugenics …

:lol::lol::lol:

you go, nutter! Don’t let anyone tell you don’t have a single coherent rational thought rattling around in that cavernous skull of yours. You’re too funny this way, my dogmatic atheist!

d.weber Said:

dammit! I wrote the wrong name. Wouldn’t want you pissed off at the wrong person, now would we?

I do love a good bonafied cyber nutcase - and you’re a peach, synical atheist. Only a true nutter could take a solitary incident like this to launch a ridiculous assault on the entirity of religion. Classic nuttery!

I started this thread rather light-heartedly little expecting to reap such a bumper crop of delightful insanity from you. Thank you! It is very amusing:lol: And then the pathetic personal attack on moi was just an excellent extra touch. Again thank you for the hilarity! Keep up the insane work!

Duo Said:

Kindern…

Remember, each time you fight and call each other names, god eats a kitten.

d.weber Said:

 sorry, duo! I’ll try not to instigate any more kitten massacres.
