Dog burgers a big hit in Sasebo

Sasebo, which already is famous in Japan for a cholesterol busting burgers for bipeds, now has a burger to suit the taste of man’s best friend. A company that manufactures pet products has developed a burger for dogs to mark the Year of the Dog.

The “Wan-wan Sasebo Burgers” (wan-wan is equivalent to “bow-wow”) are a blend of beef, chicken, dog biscuits, and pork. The burgers are free of preservatives, and pooches are said to love them.
