A company in Osaka is selling cans that they say contain aromatic air from different sections of Osaka.
Three different scents are available at a price of 580 yen each, and the company claims that sniffing the contents of the can will make an Osaka native nostalgic for their Kansai home.
So they are quite literally selling air?
February 27th, 2006 at 8:56 amI can just imagine people running around Osaka with jars collecting air to sell. I mean what do they simply make empty jars in Osaka and that has air in it. Or do they take the jars out of the factory and get some outside air? O.o;
Maybe this is an elaborate joke about people from Kansai.
In any case, the first thing that leapt to my mind was the “Perriair” from Spaceballs.
