In Japan, we are entering the Golden Week holidays, which is a kind of national spring break.

Golden Week as it is really lived: a Japanese friend in Tokyo writes: “This is Golden Week this week in Japan, and my husband Satoru has gone on a five day business trip to Ireland for visit some breweries there since he works for a major brewer in Japan, while I will stay home with a son who is sick with flu. I think Golden Week will be a good time for us, me and my son, to stay home and recover his health.”
