Morimoto’s first book, titled simply, MORIMOTO, will be a fully-illustrated look at the chef’s personal culinary journey and his philosophy of Japanese cuisine, including 120 recipes. The editor will be Carl Raymond at DK Publishing, and publication is set for September 2007. Kim Witherspoon at Inkwell Management handled the negotiations for the book deal.

Let’s hope they do a better job on the book translation than they did on that ghastly english narration of the TV series.(Cringe factor 8 Mr Sulu!!)
