Panda bites man, man bites panda

Baby pandaAfter Zhang Xinyanman had a little too much beer for lunch, he suddenly decided that Beijing Zoo resident Gu Gu the panda was the cutest thing he ever saw. He climbed over the enclosure around Gu Gu’s living area and tried to give the bear a hug. Unfortunately, Gu Gu was just not in the mood (or had a headache or something) and started chewing on Zhang’s leg.

Zhang tried to get away, and eventually tried to bite Gu Gu in the back.

“I took the opportunity to bite the panda’s back, but its fur was too thick,” Zhang said.

Eventually, a zoo worker used a hose to rescue Zhang from the panda’s clinches.

The panda was shocked by the experience, but was ready to receive tourists once again.

Following the incident, Zhang said he couldn’t remember much of what happened.

Well, he tried to bite the panda. Afterward he told the police that its fur was too thick; he couldn’t get a tooth in. Seems to me the news represented the panda as a bit larger (older) than this one: six years old to be exact.
