Taking a bite out of crime

When Hiroki Ito was pulled over by police and tested for driving under the influence, he knew he was in big trouble. As the printout came out of the breathalyzer, he ripped it off and popped it into his mouth, thinking that he could not be prosecuted without any physical evidence. What he didn’t realize was that the breathalyzer also stores test data in memory.
As a result, Ito was slapped with a charge of destroying an official document in addition to the original drunk driving charge.
