There’s something very satisfying about standing in line a movie theater and buying a ticket that has the words Yakuza and Movie printed on it.

For those of you familiar with Sega Company’s PlayStation 2 Beat Em Up video game Yakuza, you’ll now be able to see it on the big screen. The official Site of the upcoming movie has a lot of goodies and a bunch of eye candy coming just short of flipping its audience into flash induced seizures.

If you were looking for an opinion on video games translations to cinematic offerings, I would say that we haven’t been particularly fortunate in this realm. However, miracles do happen from time to time… And this film looks like it may need one.
