It’s Alive! Day of the Triffids Keitai Things

Dirty Microbe is selling what may be the ultimate keitai straps, since instead of inane anime figures, little Domo-kun, Hello Kitties, dead mushrooms, and the like, these feature actual tiny living plants. In fact, they remind you of tiny ships in a bottle, except they’re tiny plants in a bottle (how do they get them in there, anyway?) Only $9.95 each (about $1200 Yen?) the distributor says:
Like plants, but don’t have a green thumb? These plants have everything they need within the nutrient-rich gel they grow in! It’s best not to leave them in direct sunlight. The exposure from your daily activities and room lighting will do just fine. With minimal phone-drops your Tokyo micro garden can last you 6-8 months.
