Here comes the bride

Shizuka Arakawa

Turin Olympics gold medal winner Shizuka Arakawa looking pretty darn good as she strolls the catwalk wearing a wedding dress by designer Yumi Katsura during the recent Rose Obi Rose fashion show.

nope!sorry!..it won’t win any Prix Italia.

    unlike this guy..who did.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Barrell_(broadcaster)

maybe it would be interesting to read a shoot-out between Tony + Rick (Tanaka) and Mr.Wells.

In 1995 he visited to Tokyo to record interviews for a feature to commemorate the March 9-10 1945 bombing which destroyed much of the city with incendiary bombs and was, arguably, the first strategic use of napalm against civilians. The ‘Tokyo’s Burning’ feature broadcast by ABC Radio National’s Radio Eye won the RAI special prize at the Prix Italia that year in Bologna.”

and while we are at it, we can rope in co-collaborater

    Suzuki-san.

    The Japan we Never Knew.

    (thats for David,Rick & Tony).

no,I meant that exactly as.. (I/we Stated).

being a Little Brit, and never being coy about donning a piece of female apparel

Hopefully,hoffentlich,maybe..(diamondback) I grok that as one of the best, insightful, perceptive, compliments - in the past 12 months.

One of my favourite pix on this site,is at the end of one of David Weber’s wonderful “matsuri” post’s.

    (it’s the guy banging a drum - wearing a blonde afro-wig) - he joyfully couldn’t give a toss..
