Sendai has instituted a “model street” policy in which skateboarders are not allowed on the main avenue leading out from the train station . . . and smokers are asked to smoke in designated areas. They are also asked to remember that smoke travels and is wider than the human body.
Every town has its reprobates, however.
This gentleman has chosen to flaunt the no smoking law. He wasn’t happy that I took his picture.
