Camera on Conveyor

I came across this today and it’s a must see. A customer placed a digital camera on the conveyor belt at a Sushi shop in Tokyo and managed to capture a few seconds of each customer enjoying their meal.

I liked that very much. Interesting idea for a much longer movie; one that catches different stories in snippets and keeps returning as the stories evolve. Great find.

Clever, like Gus Van Sant invades kaitenzushiyasan or something. I really like how nonchalant some of the customers try to act.

Tom Green pulled a similar stunt in his Subway Monkey Hour special, although he included a speaker which allowed him to talk to the customers. He also didn’t ask anyone’s permission so the staff yelled at him.
