Tokyo Electric Power Company has announced that its Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear power plant, the largest in the world, leaked radioactive water following a strong earthquake in northeast Japan today.

Just felt another tremor up in Tochigi, which is about the sixth or seventh one of the day. Tochigi is pretty far from where the main quake action is, but we still have been getting pretty shaken up throughout the day.

Just looking at the meteorological office’s site - there were more than 50 around Honshu today. Hope all you Japundits are ok out there.
