KAL firmly on board the Korean propaganda train

A contributor over on the FG BBS reports that the TV screen showing the progress of the Korean Airlines flight carrying him from Seoul back to Japan clearly labeled Dokdo along with Tokyo, Seoul, and Beijing as one of the major points along the route.

Of course, the Sea of Japan was labeled “East Sea.”

I noticed that coming back from Seoul last time. The fact that the rocks were on the map at all was quite funny, but the precise and clear labelling just took the biscuit.

We hear about “Takeshima” or Dokdo(in Korean language) only at the news relating South Korean people are exited about it. Nobody(except Shimane prefectural assembly) is talking about this possessions issue in Japan. But it’s about fishery territory, therefore Japan can’t give it up easily.

Koreans are already making travel tour to Dokdo (island ? It’s just rocks). We hope to leave this dispute to international administration of justice or remove the rocks completely. (Who does ?)

Um, they’ve been doing this for years now. And who in Korea would call the East Sea “Sea of Japan”? Get real.

So now, anything coming from a foreign company who names the land they control in their language is “riding the propaganda train”? That’s absurd.

Yes, neighbours are funny. It’s funny to see how our neigbour try time and time again to cover up their crimes committed in the past. Wouldn’t it be easier to admit their mistakes and move on? Hm…

Um, they’ve been doing this for years now.

    Doing what? Acting irrationally?

Otori, to recognize propaganda, one must not be under the influence of it. Take a nice long holiday in Kyushu and calm down (or does Korea control Kyushu too?).
