Just check this beautiful speed painting and at the same time hear Hatsune Miku. The software sold out and became the top #1 sales in amazon Japan and it cost about 150 bucks. The song you hear in the video is from Lucky Star.
Actually, the first song is from Card Captor Sakura.
September 22nd, 2007 at 10:33 pmI’ve seen a few things like this from American webcomic artists, sped up videos of how they ink and color…this is interesting because he rotates the canvas while he’s inking, I guess to ease the flow of the lines. I don’t speak/read Japanese…does it say if he’s using a WACOM tablet?
The shading was especially neat to see, since that’s always been the hardest part of coloring for me–not that I’ve tried it more than a handful of times :>
So what do you mean by “the software”? Is this a program for people to color anime drawings on their computers? I guess $150 is cheaper than Photoshop, eh?
The music is just for the demo, right? Or does the software also play j-pop/anime themes while you’re coloring?
September 23rd, 2007 at 2:29 amis a software that “sings” the lyrics you put in the program, of course you have to know also the notes, the name of the girl that sings is called Hatsune Miku and the drawing is a Fanmade Miku, The name of the software is called Vocaloid2, is the newest version, of course the guy is using Photoshop to draw.
September 23rd, 2007 at 5:08 amI guess maybe all that was explained in the video? Again, I don’t understand Japanese, so I didn’t get that part.
Thanks for the explanation.
