Kameda bites the dust
Justice reigns in the world of sports and the good guy won as Daiki Kameda, Number Two Son of the obnoxious Kameda boxing family was soundly defeated by WBC Flyweight World Champion Daisuke Naito in a title match a few hours ago.
Naito fought like a real champion, and the result of the match should serve as fair warning to the rest of the Kameda clan that trouble is a-coming once they start to face some real competition instead of the washed out palookas they mostly have faced until now.
I have been fed up with the Kameda family from virtually the first second I laid eyes on them and really started to hate them when elder son Koki was literally handed a victory in an obviously fixed match last year.
I saw this, it was a good fight. Naito was nice, full of praise after the fight — what a guy.
October 12th, 2007 at 3:04 amI can’t watch Japanese boxers when they fight in Japan or with Japanese announcers when facing foreigners. The matches are often obviously fixed and the announcers are nationalistic cheerleaders.

October 12th, 2007 at 4:11 amI read that Kameda said he would kill himself if he lost the fight..well its better than killing us with his victory songs
