KFC chickens out of Japanese market

Forbes is reporting that Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporate Holdings Ltd. of the US is planning sell its entire 31% stake in Kentucky Fried Chicken Japan to its Japanese partner, Mitsubishi Corp. This will give Mitsubishi control of the fried chicken chain in Japan with 62% of the stock.
I wonder how long it will take for the menu to change. . .

It is funny though that Yum brands is quickly becoming the fastest growing brand in China where a KFC is opening every day, yet failing in Japan. I guess that their yakitori chicken balls taste better than the Colonel’s breaded breasts. Then again being number one in the fastest growing asian economy guarantees a good stock pick. at least for now. Long story short is Japan lost out on flavor but their hearts, arteries, and veins are rejoicing.
