MacAir - Insides full of waste

A team of engineers made up of representatives of “Japanese PC makers” have declared the MacBook Air computer to be a “perfect, sophisticated external appearance, but its insides are full of waste.”
Specific problems include the number of screws to secure the keyboard (30), and a structure that is “hard to comprehend.” Once engineer went so far as to say, “If I proposed such a design, our company would never approve it.”
Interesting.
Though, with the Air being so damned slim, I’d think tht 32 screws would:
1) go a long way to support the structure,
2) prevent dislodging and movement while the thing is being packed around - therefore making the Air pretty robust, hardware-wise.
Anyway, I thought whining about how to make things cheaper was the Chinese way and whining about how to make things more innovative was the Japanese way (whining about how to pay off debt from buying these over-priced toys is the North American way nowadays).
Guess that’s the global economy for ya… .
