“The Office” TV show, Japanese version

SNL did a Japanese version of the popular US television show “The Office”. What do you guys think about this? I thought it started out really funny but then kind of creeped me out towards the end.

I didn’t find it that funny but perhaps a lot of the humor is based on knowing the other versions of The Office, which I haven’t seen. In any case, the link provided didn’t work outside of the U.S., but you can find the video here:

Yeah I guess it helps if you’ve seen the UK version.

Erm, The Office is now a global franchise. I think the post should be amended from “the popular US television show” to “popular UK television show” as the US version is but a poorer imitation (its producers, critics and audiences seem to agree).

Hmmm, for some reason I didn’t think it was that funny - apart from the TV ad halfway through (and the end).

My feelings toward the Office (UK) itself were very mixed.
