..I thought Edward Said everything there was to say about the Oriental World leaving very little doubt in anybody’s mind and clearing up…(blah blah).
For Him or Agin Him - he certainly sparked a debate about Western Colonialism and a lot of other things that are way over my head and light years away from Horticulture and other things thatI like.
Q: why do Americans spell it “lite” and Brits etc spell it “light”…but it is universally called a “light year”..(just a thought)
Well, rem, judging by the Engrish on the T-shirt, it was no doubt written by an Oriental. I wonder if the person who wrote it got mad at himself after he realized what he hath writ. . . .?!?
(carefully rem)..
