September 7th, 2008 at 4:01 pmAwww… too bad I discovered Japundit so late but the one podcast I’ve had a chance to listen to was thoroughly enjoyable! Thanks for putting the time in to make these high quality podcasts Ed!
September 8th, 2008 at 1:16 amIt’s been a great ride.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:08 amI wasn’t into podcasts when your first fifty or so aired, but I have gone back and listened to every one.
Thanks for all your hard work, and here’s hoping you have the time and inclination to start back up someday. If you do, I’ll be listening.
Ed, Thank you for the wonderful broadcasts! As a latecomer to the world of podcasts as well its sad to know the demise of a particularly well-produced one. However my sadness is tempered by the good feelings I feel knowing that you’re moving on. You did something few do in this world—take the time out of your own life to enrich and entertain others. Thats very admirable. Hope to see a post from you now and then to let all us fans know how you and your wife are doing. Much luck and well wishes in your future endeavors!

September 8th, 2008 at 6:35 pmI appreciated the Podbasts. They were touching and moving. Edwards love and knowledge of Japan certainly came across in the Podcasts. Being a fan of Japn since my first visit in the 90’s, I always enjoyed each and every Podcast Ed produced. Thanks Edward!

September 9th, 2008 at 5:33 pmthat’s a bit too Isaak Walton-ish len, what I’m after is something more Isaac Asimov-ish cos it’s gotta be about Space and is for JAXA… got anything like that in your tacklebox along with those Elizabethan Quatrains of yours?…..

September 10th, 2008 at 11:30 pmargh, I just finished listening to #119 and now its all gone! Guess I’ll go through the 115 podcasts i haven’t enjoyed yet… Btw, does anyone else think that Ed has some sorta amazing radio voice (a trick of sound editing maybe =P)?
September 11th, 2008 at 12:06 pmFirst, I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all of the kind words people have posted in the comments here. They really mean a lot to me.
As for my radio voice, sputnik, it is a combination of my voice and really good software.
